What we handle

Slips and falls

Slipped at a store, on a sidewalk or on someone’s icy steps? You may be able to do something about it.

Draft. This text hasn’t been approved yet. Marty will review it before launch.

What usually happens

Most people brush off a fall. Then the pain doesn’t go away, and the store, the landlord or the city doesn’t call back.

Whoever owns or looks after a property has to keep it reasonably safe. When they don’t, and someone gets hurt, that person may have a claim.

Some falls come with a very short deadline to give written notice, especially falls on city property or on snow and ice. [MARTY TO CONFIRM: the notice deadlines to mention here, in plain English.]

What we do

  • Give you a straight answer on whether you have a case.
  • Help you keep the right evidence, like photos, names of witnesses and medical notes.
  • Send the notices and deal with the insurance company.
  • Keep track of the deadlines so you don’t have to.

Your next step

Tell us what happened. If it was recent, the sooner the better, because of those deadlines.

Tell us what happened

Life handed you lemons.

Let’s talk about what’s next.
