What we handle

Car accidents

Someone ran a red light into your Tuesday. Here’s what usually happens next, and where we come in.

Draft. This text hasn’t been approved yet. Marty will review it before launch.

What usually happens

After a crash, two things tend to happen at once: you’re trying to get better, and insurance companies start sending forms.

In Ontario, your own car insurance pays certain benefits after an accident, whoever caused it. These are called accident benefits, and they can help with things like treatment and lost income. Separately, if someone else was at fault, you may also have a claim against them.

Both come with paperwork and deadlines. Some of the deadlines are short. [MARTY TO CONFIRM: the key deadlines to list here, in plain English.]

What we do

  • Explain, in plain English, what you may be entitled to and what it involves.
  • Handle the forms, the calls and the back-and-forth with the insurance companies.
  • Keep track of the deadlines so you don’t have to.
  • Tell you straight if you don’t need us.

Your next step

Tell us what happened, in your own words. It takes a few minutes and doesn’t sign you up for anything.

Tell us what happened

Life handed you lemons.

Let’s talk about what’s next.
